We were able to bring her straight down and she was extremely well looked after by the vet and the nurses. We registered at Sandbeck Veterinary Centre after our usual vet was unsure about the diagnosis and treatment for our young hamster, Milo. Within days he was correctly diagnosed and underwent intricate, lifesaving surgery—something few vets would attempt. Thanks to their skill and compassion, Milo is now recovering well. It’s such a relief to have found a practice with the knowledge and dedication to care for exotics and small animals. We see Ed Brownlee who is our absolute hero! Elsie can be distressingly wilful during her visits but Ed has taken the time to truly get to know her (and me) over the years so understands her and makes the visits a total pleasure. His care and consideration is top notch and I know of clients who travel some distances just to take their pets to Ed. He is without question the best vet we have had . During our last visit I was dealing with an emergency involving my elderly Father and my mobile was misbehaving adding to my stress. Ed took my phone, reset it all for me and fixed the problem! Now that is going the extra mile. What a bespoke service! Top vet and an IT specialist. I should also like to add that the ladies on reception are fantastic. A really lovely, friendly, caring team. Efficient and kind. Special mention to Beverley who helped me enormously the day of the misbehaving telephone! Huge thank you to all of the Sandbeck team. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
